The opportunity

We are looking for a People Analytics Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this role you will help shape a more data‑driven HR function by transforming complex workforce data into clear insights that support decision‑making across the company. You will work with HR leadership and cross‑functional teams to build reliable reporting, strengthen data quality, and support the development of our people‑related processes. If you enjoy combining analytics with practical business impact and appreciate an environment that moves quickly, this role will suit you well.

You will be joining a global HR team that supports a evolving organisation. Collaboration, curiosity and a hands‑on mindset are important, as is an interest in how technology and data can make our work smarter.

This position is based at our office in Gothenburg, Sweden. We use a hybrid working model that gives room both for focused work and for collaboration on site. Travel may occur occasionally depending on the needs of the role.

The responsibilities

You will lead and develop our HR data strategy and make sure we work with accurate, well‑structured and reliable data. You will turn workforce information into insights that support planning, reporting and decision‑making. This includes maintaining data quality, driving compliance processes and ensuring strong foundations for headcount management and HR KPIs.

Key responsibility areas include:

  • Implementing and maintaining a data‑driven HR function with high data quality

  • Owning the full HR data lifecycle and securing a clear and reliable single source of truth

  • Setting and managing data compliance routines in line with GDPR and internal policies

  • Managing accurate headcount and position structures in our HR systems, including forecasting

  • Developing and reporting HR KPIs that reflect organisational health and performance

  • Translating workforce data into insights for HR leadership and business partners

  • Managing internal and external HR reporting such as monthly headcount reports

  • Acting as the SPOC for Polestar’s AI SteerCo and supporting AI and automation initiatives in HR

The ideal candidate

You bring an analytical and structured approach and enjoy solving problems where data is central. You are comfortable simplifying complex topics and adapting your communication depending on the audience. You take initiative, keep a steady level of detail orientation and adapt well when priorities shift. You are naturally curious about new tools and technology and feel confident working with both data and people.

To succeed in this role, you will also need:

  • A university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Science or Statistics

  • Experience with People Analytics tools, BI platforms such as Power BI and HRIS systems

  • Extensive hands-on knowledge of end-to-end HR processes with a demonstrated ability to apply analytics within HR functions and processes

  • A background in implementing or working with AI‑related solutions or participating in AI steering groups

  • Understanding of GDPR and data privacy processes related to personnel data

  • Strong ability to translate headcount and workforce information into concise updates that support leaders in their decision‑making
