Central Operations & AI Enablement Manager
About Treehouse
Treehouse is on a mission to accelerate the decarbonization of the places we live and work. We've built the go-to operating system for home electrification – partnering with brands like Toyota, General Motors, Rivian, and ChargePoint to deliver seamless, end-to-end EV charger and battery backup installations for their customers. We handle everything from scoping to permitting to installation, powered by proprietary technology that enables us to scope and design projects virtually at scale. We've completed thousands of installations across the country, built a growing roster of national partners, and are backed by strategic investors including CarMax, Holman, and Eaton. We're a small, scrappy team working on a problem that actually matters.
About the Role
As a Central Operations & AI Enablement Manager at Treehouse, you will own the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the operational systems and processes that power Treehouse's growth. This role sits at the intersection of systems engineering and operational execution — you are not just running processes, you are building and refining them with an eye toward scalability, automation, and intelligent tooling.
You will lead Treehouse's adoption and implementation of AI-powered tooling, including automated support agents, intelligent workflow automation, and data architecture improvements that reduce manual lift across the organization. You will partner with GTM, Field, and R&D teams to translate operational needs into durable systems, and you will serve as the internal expert on how Treehouse's operational tech stack fits together and evolves.
Responsibilities
The Central Operations & AI Enablement Manager will:
AI Enablement:
- Partner with functional leaders across GTM, Field, CX, and Finance to identify high-leverage AI opportunities, design implementation plans, and support execution through to adoption
- Manage the AI enablement program day-to-day: employee onboarding, training materials, Builder office hours, and adoption tracking
- Develop Claude skills, automations, and AI-assisted workflows within Treehouse's established infrastructure
Systems Design:
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of operational systems and workflows, with a focus on scalability and automation
- Serve as system administrator and architect for Treehouse's CRM (HubSpot), FSM, and related platforms, supporting configuration, data architecture, access management, and cross-platform integration
Data Integrity and Reporting:
- Define and enforce data standards and hygiene practices that ensure reporting accuracy and enable reliable performance analysis across teams
Cross-functional Partnership:
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to translate field realities and operational requirements into scalable technical workflows and productized features
- Build, document, and maintain SOPs, process maps, and training materials that support consistent execution across internal and outsourced teams
Operational Support:
- Provide escalation support and periodic on-call coverage to ensure continuity for internal stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Bachelor's degree; in lieu of degree, four years relevant experience
- 4+ years of experience in systems administration, operations, or process-focused roles, preferably within a startup or high-growth environment
- Demonstrated experience implementing or overseeing AI tooling, including support automation, LLM-powered workflows, or intelligent process automation
- Experience as a HubSpot administrator, including workflow architecture and CRM data modeling; experience with Field Service Management (FSM) tools (e.g., Zuper, ServiceTitan) a plus
- Strong foundation in data architecture and reporting — experience designing systems that produce clean, reliable data, not just consume it
- Proven ability to own ambiguous problems end-to-end, from requirements gathering through implementation and iteration
Preferred Qualifications
Additionally, successful candidates may demonstrate:
- Experience building or managing AI support agents (e.g., chatbots, automated triage systems, or LLM-integrated helpdesks)
- Comfort working across technical and non-technical stakeholders — able to translate between operator needs and engineering requirements
- Strong written communication skills; able to produce clear documentation, SOPs, and process specs without heavy oversight
- Passion for electrification and/or energy sustainability
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $135,000 annually. This is a good faith estimate of what Treehouse may pay for a new hire; actual pay may vary based on prevailing wages in geographic location and a candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience, education, certifications, and ability to meet required job qualifications.
