Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 28, 2026

MobilityJobs (“we,” “our,” or “the Site”) is a job board for the mobility, automotive, electric vehicle, autonomous driving, and aerospace industries. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell personal information, we do not run ads, and we collect as little data as we reasonably can.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in two categories:

(a) Information you provide directly

  • Contact form. If you fill out our contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you selected, and your message.
  • Job submission form. If you submit a job listing or careers page via /submit, we receive the information you provide about the role and your company.

(b) Information collected automatically

  • Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request metadata such as IP address, user-agent, referrer, and timestamps. These logs are used to operate and secure the Site and are retained on a short rolling basis.

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or behavioral profiling cookies. We do not place tracking pixels on the Site.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and secure the Site;
  • Respond to messages you send us;
  • Review and, where appropriate, publish job listings you submit;
  • Detect and prevent abuse, spam, and security incidents;
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. Job listings and public data

The job listings on this Site are aggregated from publicly available sources, including the public job boards and applicant tracking systems (ATS) of the listed employers, and from listings submitted by employers. Information about job postings is intended to be public. When you click through to apply for a job, you leave MobilityJobs and your interaction is governed by the privacy policy of the destination employer or ATS provider.

4. How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in the following limited cases:

  • Service providers. We use a small number of third-party service providers to operate the Site (see Section 5). These providers process information on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request.
  • Protection of rights. We may disclose information to investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, or threats to the safety of any person or to our Site.

5. Third-party services

We rely on the following third-party services:

  • Render — web hosting and content delivery. See Render’s privacy policy.
  • Formspree— processes contact form and job submission form messages on our behalf. See Formspree’s privacy policy.
  • GitHub— hosts our source code and runs scheduled jobs that fetch publicly available employer job listings. See GitHub’s privacy statement.
  • Google (Sheets & Fonts). We use Google Sheets internally to stage job data, and Google Fonts to serve typography. No personal information from site visitors is sent to Google Sheets. See Google’s privacy policy.
  • LinkedIn. We operate a MobilityJobs LinkedIn Page and use the LinkedIn API to publish summaries of new job listings to that page. We do not transmit information about Site visitors to LinkedIn. If you interact with our LinkedIn Page, your interaction is governed by LinkedIn’s privacy policy.

6. Cookies

MobilityJobs does not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. Our hosting provider may set minimal cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver the Site (for example, to route traffic). You can control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Data retention

We keep contact and job-submission messages for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to them and to maintain a record of communications, and then delete or archive them. Server logs are retained on a short rolling basis by our hosting provider. You can ask us to delete your messages at any time.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion of your information;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. We do not sell personal information, and we do not engage in “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California law.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s privacy

MobilityJobs is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. International users

MobilityJobs is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that information you provide may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

12. Contact us

For privacy questions or to exercise any of the rights described above, please reach us via the contact form. Select the “General” topic and mention “Privacy” in your message so we can route it appropriately.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site or otherwise communicated to you where appropriate.
