Associate - Logistics

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare/Assist monthly dispatch plan and vehicle placement plans in line with FG/cargo readiness/sales plan
2. Continuously monitor FG/Cargo readiness to ensure timely initiation of vehicle placement
3. Assist to ensure safe transportation methods are implemented and deliveries are made in safe & sound condition
4. Monitor safe loading and proper lashing of FG on trucks
5. Ensure the vehicle crew follows best practices
6. Skilled in tracking and tracing shipments and provide real time updates to superiors
7. Regularly monitor transit status with the crew to resolve any transit related issues
8. Posses good understanding about the domestic dispatch documents like Tax invoices, E invoices ,Delivery challans, EWBs & LR
9. Knowledgeable in export documentation and processes
10. Hands on experience in working with Logistics providers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth execution of shipments
11. Hands on experience in SAP MM/SD related to logistics
12. Knowledge in Freight payment processing & MIS

Ideal Candidate

1. Diploma /Bcom/ Bsc with 2 to 5 years experience
2. Should be able to lead a team of 5 to 7 members
3. Good Communication
4. Good in analysis
