Engineer - Component Validation

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop a risk-based test strategy, plan test procedures and author test cases based on PRD, Field Failures and DFMEA documents.
2. Develop and Maintain Validation Test Plan for subsystems (like wiring harness, peripherals, Horm, Buzzer, lamps, VCU, MCU, BMS,..).
3. Provide expertise in Functionality, Safety and regulatory compliance.
4. To prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, component owners, product and quality assurance to define test plans and acceptance criteria.

Ideal Candidate

1. 2 to 4 years of experience in the validation/testing environment.
2. Proficiency in developing detailed validation plans & reports based on functional and regulatory requirements.
3. Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
4. Knowledge of testing and failure identification.
5. Develop test setups, select instrumentation, and ensure accurate data acquisition using tools such as PCAN, LabVIEW, or NI DAQ.
6. Expertise in identifying risks in the component and feeding them to the CFTs and also suggest mitigation plans.
7. Document all test results and prepare detailed technical reports for internal and external team reviews.
