Senior Network & Systems Administrator

Key Responsibilities

1. Serve as the lead administrator for the JumpCloud Directory Platform, managing the complete user identity lifecycle (provisioning, de-provisioning, and attribute synchronization)
2. Configure and enforce security policies across a heterogeneous fleet of endpoints (Windows, macOS, Linux), including Full Disk Encryption, OS patch management, and screen lock policies
3. Architect and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations for enterprise SaaS applications and manage LDAP/RADIUS authentication for network access
4. Implement strict Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policies and conditional access rules to secure organizational resources
5. Deploy, configure, and maintain the full Cisco Meraki stack, including MX Security Appliances, MS Switches, and MR Access Points
6. Design and implement firewall rules, Layer 7 traffic shaping, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and content filtering policies
7. Manage secure Site-to-Site VPN connections and Client VPN access for remote workforce continuity
8. Utilize the Meraki Dashboard for real-time network health monitoring, bandwidth analysis, and proactive troubleshooting of connectivity issues
9. Manage the Google Workspace ecosystem (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet) to ensure optimal configuration and compliance
10. Audit permissions for Shared Drives and implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) rules to mitigate external data leakage risks
11. Configure and validate email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and manage spam/phishing protection rules to ensure domain reputation and security
12. Oversee Google Vault for data retention, legal holds, and eDiscovery requirements
13. Deploy and manage the CrowdStrike Falcon agent across all corporate assets
14. Monitor the security console for alerts, investigate potential threats, isolate compromised endpoints, and execute remediation procedures
15. Continuously tune prevention policies to maximize security efficacy while maintaining user productivity
16. Provide comprehensive L1 through L3 technical support for internal stakeholders, resolving hardware, software, and network incidents
17. Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and software licenses; manage procurement lifecycles and vendor relationships
18. Author and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the IT department

Ideal Candidate

1. B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity
2. 5 to 7 years of proven experience in Network and Systems Administration
3. A self-directed professional capable of working independently as an Individual Contributor.
4. You must be able to diagnose complex issues and implement solutions with minimal supervision
5. Demonstrated ability to manage diverse technical domains—from network layer routing to endpoint application support—with equal proficiency
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
7. JumpCloud: Advanced proficiency in directory management, MDM policy deployment, and SSO configuration
8. Google Workspace: Expert-level knowledge of the Google Admin Console, including organizational unit (OU) structure and security settings
9. Cisco Meraki: Hands-on experience configuring VLANs, VPNs, and firewall policies within the Meraki ecosystem
10. OS Support: Deep troubleshooting expertise in both macOS and Windows environments
11. Identity: JumpCloud Certified Administrator (Core) OR JumpCloud Advanced Administrator
12. Cloud/SaaS: Google Workspace Administrator Professional Certificate
13. Networking: Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist (500-220 ECMS) OR Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (with specific Meraki experience)
14. Cybersecurity: Experience with CrowdStrike Falcon (CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Administrator - CCFA is a distinct advantage)
15. Automation: Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) to automate administrative workflows
